Sound Pure's Take
Every once and a while Martin comes out with a new model that captures the essence of the original and we find the D-18GE to be one of the great re-creations. The Adi top is responsive and stiff and has enough headroom to clear a skyscraper. Rather than the obtrusive and booming low-end you get out of rosewood dreads, this Mahogany back and sides carries a delicate balance and airiness to the overall tone. The midrange is a little more prominent here than in most large body guitars, and the traditional aesthetics are to die for. This is a guitar that will land in the hands of a purist, and they will love absolutely this piece.
Condition: Has some slight wear on the binding as pictured.
From Martin and Co.
