Sound Pure's Take
One of our first Mario Martin guitars was a T-style with two gold foil pickups; and we haven't strayed far with good reason. Everything about the sound of this guitar can be described as full and weighty, while the guitar itself (built from lightweight Paulownia) is anything but, weighing in at under 5 1/2 pounds!
From Mario Guitars
When the T-Style hit the market in the 1950’s it revolutionized the way guitar music was played. The T-style is elegantly simple while also being remarkably versatile. The T-Style has graced the shoulders of Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen, Merle Haggard and many, many more.
We offer this model mainly in a 50′s or 60′s style, and the options are many; play around with different pick-up configurations and make a “T” that is totally just for you. Go classically twangy or add humbuckers for a crunch, there is no wrong way to enjoy playing this magnificent instrument.
