This instrument benefits from Mario's own unique touch along with some painstaking research including the cloning of a particularly lovely neck from a real vintage '63 P. The result is truly to die for. A true "goldilocks" combination of features and specs, this P-style is effortlessly playable thanks to a lightweight Swamp Ash body, 1 5/8" nut width, and the aforementioned perfectly shaped neck. The Lollar Precision Split-Coil pickup is wonderfully voiced with mean high cut, growling mids, and thumping lows with usable tones all the way through the sweep of the tone knob.
