The Mario Martin Serpentine is a soulful, finely aged instrument that feels personal the moment it’s in your hands. Its mahogany body and neck deliver warm, resonant depth, paired beautifully with Fralin Pure PAF pickups that offer rich clarity and dynamic nuance. The chunky C neck, compound-radius rosewood fingerboard, and vintage-inspired fretwork create a confident, broken-in feel that encourages expressive playing. Finished in lightly relic’d Pelham Blue nitro, this Serpentine carries unmistakable character and craftsmanship—an inspiring, collectible-grade investment, complete with signed documentation, built to be played, trusted, and cherished for the long haul.

Mario Martin’s first custom model was the Serpentine. This proprietary offset looks and feels vintage-familiar, but has a deceptive originality. Mario built these guitars to be nimble, but without compromising tone or playability. The modern Serpentine has a featherweight Mahogany body, 24 3/4” scale length and curvy offset waist. This beast harnesses the tone power of Humbuckers.  The Serpentine feels like ’60s off sets, but with more hard rock punch. 

This is our signature model, but  feel free to take liberty with the options. You can make it as custom as you want, or have us build you an original. Either way, you are guaranteed to taste the forbidden fruit of tone!
