From Lynx Studio Technology
The Lynx Studio Technology Hilo 2 Reference AD/DA Converter with USB is designed for professionals who require the highest audio quality for mixing, mastering, or location sound. A true all-in-one device, Hilo 2 features two channels of superior AD conversion, up to six channels of DA conversion, a secondary monitor output, and a world-class independent headphone amplifier, all within a compact half-rack size.
Hilo 2 offers a variety of digital I/O options, including stereo AES/EBU, stereo coaxial S/PDIF, and stereo optical S/PDIF (switchable to 8-channel ADAT). Built-in metering and analysis, and hyperflexible routing and monitoring control are all easily accessed, saved, and recalled via the large, color touchscreen.
This version of the Hilo 2 includes a preinstalled LT-USB LSlot USB interface card providing 16 channels of USB 2.0 communication to a host computer.
