Using a seamless aluminum shell, the 6.5x14 utilizes a 10 lug configuration which gives you a little more tuning flexibility. The added hammering helps shorten some of the sustain, and when combined with the aluminum shell, you get a precise and sharp note. The hammering also adds a nice aesthetic that is sure to turn heads.
