This is a Chicago-made Ludwig 5x14 chrome-over-brass Super Sensitive snare drum that is here on consignment. It's a Keystone badge and definitely a drum for a player and not a collector. Considering its age it is in good condition with slight chrome pitting on the lugs and shell. There is some heavy scratching around the badge both on the inside and outside of the shell, where it looks like someone attempted to remove the badge. The throw-off snare-sensitivity dials and muffler work well with very little resistance. The heads and snare wires are relatively new and the drum will ship in a hardshell foamed case.
