SP Luthier Notes: A majority of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. A number of frets had become raised above the fingerboard and partially out of their fret slots which necessitated gluing and reseating said frets into the fingerboard. No further work was required.
In 2004 George decided that a series of guitars similar to the original series but with a couple of upgrades would be great to offer to the players who wanted the best tuners you can get on the one hand, but also had a little more detailing in the appointments in general. So the 35 series was born.
Our most compact design, the Wee Lowden is a travel friendly, parlour style guitar that sacrifices nothing in tone. Ideal for players who prioritize portability without compromising on sound.
