Downright seductive!  I fall easy for small-bodied hog-tops as it is, but this guitar has an appeal unlike any other.  I'm hearing an unlikely balance between that warm, dark tonality that I adore in old hog-top blues boxes and the whip-like response that Lowdens are prized for.  The midrange is like heaven on earth--it glows and glows but is never muddy as is the case on many other all-mahogany guitars, thanks again to the lively precision that inhabits all Lowdens.  Standard tuning, down tuning, open tunings...you're going to want to try them all.  And that Mahogany!  Distinct, gorgeous, and all-too-easy to fall for, just like the sound and playability.  Like the best guitars I've played, I'm hearing old favorites come out like never before and I'm also finding myself reaching effortlessly for new ideas I never saw coming.  This piece of acoustic finery isn't going to stick around long--call us up before someone else claims this prize for themselves.

The S-35M is currently our only guitar model which comes with a hardwood soundboard as standard. This particular tone wood, Fiddleback Mahogany, is warm and responsive through a mild and easy grain structure. Complemented with Robson hand made open gear tuners, the S-35M is beautiful looking and beautifully responsive.
