What We Think

Snappy and dynamic! When played with a light touch it has plenty of definition for a Cedar top, and when you dig in it shows itself to be just as at home with a heavier right hand.

The range of tones you can coax out of this guitar gives me chills in the same way a vintage piece does. Rare to see a new guitar with such inherent character. Just imagine what it will sound like once it's been broken in!

Manufacturer's Description from Lowden

The Original Series was the very first Lowden range from 1976, just as the ‘O’ model is George’s original Lowden body design. Although the medium sized ‘F’ and concert sized ‘S’ have been added to the range since then, the Lowden standard of passionate commitment to no compromise was well and truly set.
