Latin Percussion (LP) is proud to introduce a comfortable option for extended playing on any cajon, with the new LP Cajon Throne. Designed to support up to 300 pounds, the 10”-diameter LP Cajon Throne (LP1445) mounts quickly to the top of any cajon. The cajon throne rotates a full 360 degrees, allowing the player to easily transition between their entire percussion setup without moving the cajon. The padded seat on the cajon throne is covered with a removable and washable cover, and is mounted on a non-slip rubber base for added stability.
Latin Percussion was founded in 1964 as the passion project of Martin Cohen, a young engineer living in New York City. Captivated by the Latin music he heard at New York’s jazz clubs, Martin set out to hand-craft his own percussive instruments like bongos and cowbells, delivering them to musicians all around the city. Since then, LP has been dedicated to producing only the highest quality percussion instruments by putting the needs of the performing musician above all others. From congas to cajons, timbales to tambourines, LP continues to meet the demands of modern percussionists across all styles of music.
