 Main Gain

 This is the standalone base unit for the Gain Train. It features stereo in, stereo out, a mono switch, and something I've wanted on my controller for years: independent left and right muting. The Main Gain also sports tri-color LED metering so you can verify the presence of your signal as well as its intensity and ballistics. It's also just plain cool to look at in a dark control room, and the oversized aluminum knob was specifically designed to conform to the thumb-and-two-finger grip you use when adjusting this control; the first time you give it a twist, the tactile response alone will put a smile on your face.

 Function Junction

 This is the expansion module for the Gain Train, it couples directly to the Main Gain and adds two additional stereo inputs, talkback with level control, and two of the finest, cleanest, loudest headphone amps the world has ever heard. All outputs can be monitored individually or at the same time, making it easy to integrate subwoofers or run all the speakers at the same time if that's your game. The Function Junction takes the simplicity of the Main Gain and adds incredible flexibility without compromising the sonics in the least.

 The bottom line is that the Gain Train puts out exactly what you put into it, a feat generally reserved for boutique units that cost 2-3 times as much. You will hear details in your music you never knew existed, and you will hear a tightness and definition on the low end you didn't think was possible.
