The sides and back are truly exceptional pieces of koa, featuring all the lively projection of maple and the warm woodiness of mahogany. A bold low end, brassy mids and expressive treble characterize this instrument, and the Sitka spruce top effortlessly glues it all together with clarity while still allowing for rich overtonal content. All things considered, it's a highly versatile instrument: In stereotypical OM fashion, it's an exemplary fingerpicker, but its combination of smooth brightness and full-bodied low end also makes it a cannon of a strummer. A whole lotta guitar for a pre-loved price!
