Condition: Used, Very Good
A flawless blend of T, S, and LP styles the Choptank is a versatile and unique instrument for those players looking for something just a bit off the beaten path. Toting set-neck sustain with S and T style feel and controls, overdriven passages sing and howl for what seems like hours! And that finish! The look of this guitar is hard to beat with the highly flamed maple top set off in a delicate "Winter Snow" finish and topped off with a pale maple pickguard that really gives the Choptank a luxury look to match its luxury feel!
SP Luthier Notes: A portion of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. No further work was required.
Knaggs Guitars was founded in 2009 by World renowned designer and luthier Joe Knaggs and Branding/Marketing expert Peter Wolf, two well-respected industry veterans with a vast history and experience in their respective fields.
All designs/creations are named after American Indian river names. Chesapeake line models Choptank, Severn, Potomac & Patuxent are named after tributaries to the Chesapeake Bay while the Influence line Kenai, Keya, Chena, Sheyenne are named after rivers in North America.
