SP Luthier Notes: The truss rod and bridge were fully adjusted. One of the nut slots on the guitar required work to ensure the string was sitting at the proper height. A complete wipedown and cleaning of this instrument was done. No further work was required.
Immerse yourself in the soulful tones of this Kopp K-35, a slope shoulder dreadnought meticulously crafted by one of the finest names in boutique guitar building. With a resonant 16” wide body and a comfortable 24.75” scale length, this instrument features a stunning red spruce top with a tasteful burst finish, complemented by rich mahogany back and sides. The K-35’s inlayed logo is a testament to its artisan quality and unique character. This isn't just a guitar; it's an investment in a lifelong musical partner. Our luthier has fine-tuned the truss rod and bridge, and adjusted the nut to ensure a perfect setup. Every detail has been cared for, making this instrument supremely playable and ready to bring your music to life! This guitar is a keeper, with a truly timeless voice.
The Kopp K-35 is another incredibly popular guitar with working players and weekend pickers alike.
“I like the expression “dry, explosive and woody” because that how players have articulated how they feel about the K-35”. It’s their way of expressing to me that they are getting a “Vintage” and useable type tone from the guitar.
“People have told me they love the fact that the K-35 does so many things so well, that they can cover a lot of ground with one guitar”!
“If you are doing bluegrass, finger style, rock, jazz or blues you will find this guitar becomes an extension of your playing and delivers tone in spades”. It is an extremely comfortable guitar to play and records remarkably well with a pick or without.
