Crafted in the tradition of classic small-bodied acoustics, the Whitehead 00-28 pairs a clear spruce top with rich rosewood back and sides in a comfortable 00 body size. Built around traditional X-bracing, its mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard decorated with abalone inlays and anchored at the headstock by open-gear nickel Waverly tuning machines and a rosewood peghead veneer. Elegant visual appointments include a shimmering abalone rosette, an ebony bridge, and fine top craftsmanship. Outfitted with a high-quality K&K pickup system for transparent amplified acoustic tone, this responsive 5 lb 2 oz instrument includes a hardshell case.
