Starting with the Crescent City model as a basis, Jimmy Foster has created an archtop jazz guitar that possesses many of the most popular features for a full sized 17-inch archtop guitar. Beautifully carved flamed maple adorns the back, sides, and neck of the Avalon model. Fine aged Sitka spruce is used for the carved top plate. All other appointments are made from aged Ebony. The other unique feature of the Avalon guitar model is its immediate availability from a Foster authorized dealer. This archtop guitar is available as a 6-string guitar or a 7-string guitar.
