Combining vintage-inspired pre-war dreadnought aesthetics with hand-crafted boutique precision, the Huss & Dalton TD-R pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides. Weighing 4 lbs 8 oz, its flat-top body layout and 25.4" scale length deliver rich, booming bass, crystalline highs, and massive acoustic projection. The ebony-bound fretboard features short-pattern slotted square inlays and a comfortable 1 23/32" nut width. Elegantly appointed with ivoroid body binding, classic herringbone top purfling, a TD-R style rosette, and nickel open-back Huss & Dalton tuners, this flagship dreadnought includes an ebony belly bridge with 2 7/32" saddle spacing and ships with a tweed hardshell case.

To multitudes of contemporary guitarists, the dreadnought is the king of the heap, and our TD-R leads the pack as a rosewood flat top that brings the best of the past to the requirements of the present. Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce are dressed in herringbone and ivoroid trim. A powerful bass register stands above a rich balance of mids and highs, creating a guitar that was born to lead the band.
