Sound Pure's Take
A seamless combination of traditional and totally unique design elements, the Mendocino is familiar while retaining and sound and feel all its own. This particular serial features a Sinker Redwood top giving the guitar extra responsiveness and headroom, making an articulation rarely obtained.
From Grez Guitars
The Grez Mendocino is a compact (13.25"), light weight (5lbs) semi-hollobody guitar with the voice of a full size semi-hollowbody. Its strong voice is imparted by the nature of it's internal structure and a high quality, acoustic guitar grade, Old Growth Redwood top.
