SP Luthier Notes: A number of frets had become raised above the fingerboard and partially out of their fret slots which necessitated gluing and reseating said frets into the fingerboard. A majority of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. No further work was required.
An Ornery Orange Hollowbody, Equipped with Gretsch FilterTrons! It just doesn't get cooler. This is one of those kinds of guitars that's just oozing with Mojo. The FilterTron pickups have a unique sound, like a beefy single coil, but with much more definitionacross the spectrum - and the attack is different too. Plugeed in through a clean amp these are spanky and shimmery, and through a dimed amplifier these pickups sound like nothing you've ever heard. Thanks to our luthier's handiwork, this guitar genuinely could not play any better. You don't want to miss this guitar!
