Condition: Used, Excellent
SP Luthier Notes: A majority of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required an adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. No further work was required.
This Les Paul in Honeyburst isn't just wood and wire. From the moment you lay eyes on that AAA Figured Maple top, glowing like a sunset on a summer night, you know you're holding something special. That Slim Taper neck just melts in your hand, letting your fingers dance across the rosewood fretboard like they were born to play. Plug it in, and those 60s Burstbucker pickups will sing a song of grit and glory, whether you're wailing on a bent note or laying down a rhythm part to be envious of. Sustain? Check. Mojo? Doublecheck. Don't miss this thing!
Today's Gibson electric guitars represent the history as well as the future of the electric guitar. The models whose designs have become classics-the ES-175, ES-335, Flying V, Explorer, Firebird, SGs and Les Pauls-are a testament to Gibson's wide appeal, spanning more than four decades of music styles. Gibson's close relationship with musicians is manifest in endorsement models from King, Atkins and jazz greats Howard Roberts and Herb Ellis, plus new Les Pauls made to the personal specifications of rock stars Jimmy Page and Joe Perry. In 1994, Gibson's Centennial year, the new Nighthawk model won an industry award for design, setting the stage for a second hundred years of Gibson quality and innovation.
