Condition: Used, Excellent
SP Luthier Notes: A majority of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required an adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. No further work was required.
Ready for an exceptional playing experience? This Gibson Les Paul, with its mahogany body and maple top, delivers that iconic rich sustain and articulate tone you crave. The slim taper neck and rosewood fingerboard offer an effortless feel, while 60s Burstbucker pickups (61R/61T), hand-wired with Orange Drop Capacitors, provide classic, dynamic voicing.
What sets this guitar apart? Our luthier has perfected it. The frets, meticulously leveled, recrowned, and polished, are now in a near-mint state. Combined with precise truss rod, nut, and bridge adjustments, this axe is dialled in for maximum playability. Forget "as-is" – this Les Paul is a peak-performance instrument, ready to inspire right out of its hard shell case, a true testament to its enduring value.
Today's Gibson electric guitars represent the history as well as the future of the electric guitar. The models whose designs have become classics-the ES-175, ES-335, Flying V, Explorer, Firebird, SGs and Les Pauls-are a testament to Gibson's wide appeal, spanning more than four decades of music styles. Gibson's close relationship with musicians is manifest in endorsement models from King, Atkins and jazz greats Howard Roberts and Herb Ellis, plus new Les Pauls made to the personal specifications of rock stars Jimmy Page and Joe Perry. In 1994, Gibson's Centennial year, the new Nighthawk model won an industry award for design, setting the stage for a second hundred years of Gibson quality and innovation.
