Sound Pure's Take
Condition: Used, Very Good
One of only a handful produced, this Explorer is truly special. The vintage-inspired Pelham Blue has aged perfectly to a gorgeous shade of something nearer to aquamarine or emerald green. The light relic work makes the neck and body feel like a barely broken in, closet classic. And the sound! The slightly underwound pickups harken back to those sought after, late '50s PAF tones that drip with clarity and sweetened highs!
