What We Think

A true front-man's guitar, or a lead player's guitar who loves some flash in his screamin' P90 tone! The back and sides have a very fine sparkle while the top is big flake for a huge impact. You have to see this one in person to fully appreciate the details! And it's a real performer! Smooth bigsby swells and thick growl from the P90's. All from a luthier right in SoundPure's home town of Durham NC.

Familiarity, comfort, and spectacular tone: these are the traits of the Custom Set Neck. A mahogany body and set mahogany neck combine to provide warm vintage sounds with bright, punchy highs. The neck is a little narrower than other Gadows. The Custom Set Neck comes standard with Seymour Duncan pickups, or you can choose to have handwound Lindy Fralin pickups take you to a whole other level. More so than any other Gadow, this guitar exudes pizzaz. Weýve dressed these guitars up with highly-figured carved maple tops and custom fretboard inlays. If you crave tradition with Gadow comfort and tone, the Custom Set Neck is a must-have.
