Wow! If you know the name "Dave Friedman", you already know the reputation his amps have. Additionally, knowing the name "Steve Stevens" you know that you can expect the highest level of tone and quality. Melding the two together? Heaven!
This one absolutely blows me away! From a british-style roar on the dirty side, to a clean, glassy tone on the clean side, you'll be hard pressed not to find a wonderful tone available to you. Incredible clarity even with gobs and gobs of gain, this one is truly that 80's tone you've always been searching for.

Dave Friedman’s first signature amplifier, the SS-100 was created to guitarist extraordinaire, Steve Stevens’ exacting tonal demands. The SS100 is a 100-watt EL34 powered, two channel plus BOOST, high gain tone machine that is capable of producing many styles of music from blues to classic rock and from heavy rock to metal by simply adjusting the gain and master controls. Likewise the versatile and gorgeous clean channel is great for a whole palette of styles.
