This Forsell is designed for use with 130v mics, but will ship with a pair of DPA HTP 4000 barrel adapters that step the voltage down from 130v to 48v phantom power in case you want to use this mic pre with phantom powered condensers instead.

Sound Pure's Take

This Forsell is a twin design using two 993 FET amps per channel- similar to the Boulder/Hardy and the new API 3124V preamps. It features Elma switches for total transparency and accuracy in setting gains, and sounds impeccably clean. We've thoroughly tested this unit with both 130v microphones as well as standard phantom powered units and it works magnificently!

We also currently have a pair of DPA 3541 kits that can be combined with this Forsell mic preamp.
