Meticulously designed to exact artist specifications, the Fender Artist Signature Eric Johnson Stratocaster features an alder body finished in gloss lacquer Black with a 1-ply parchment pickguard. Weighing 7 lbs 7 oz, it incorporates a 1-piece quartersawn maple neck carved to a Soft "V" profile in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, paired with an integrated 12" radius maple fingerboard carrying 21 medium jumbo frets, black dot inlays, and a 1.650" bone nut over a 25.5" scale length. Tone is driven by a trio of specially voiced Eric Johnson single-coil pickups with countersunk mounting screws, routed through a 5-position blade switch, master volume, Tone 1 (neck pickup), and Tone 2 (bridge pickup). Hardware appointments include a 6-saddle American Vintage synchronized tremolo with an included chrome bridge cover, vintage-style staggered tuners eliminating the need for string trees, parchment plastic controls, and nickel/chrome finish, complete with a hardshell case.
