There's always been a clamor to recapture the style and craftsmanship from bygone eras and Fender offers some of the best reissue guitars available. This '52 is a bit of a mongrel, as it features a '93 body and a '94 neck, but it's the sort of loveable mutt that will be your best friend forever. And don't get me wrong, this is a prime specimen in every way and Fender has lovingly recreated the glory of the early 50's models perfectly, from the gorgeous finish to the pair of American Vintage '52 Single-coil pickups. This baby has even been freshly refretted. Let this butterscotch beauty follow you home today!
From Fender
PURE VINTAGE ORIGINAL TELECASTER
For the guitarist who craves pure vintage Fender style, the American Vintage series presents original-era model year guitars built with meticulous attention to accurate detail that bring Fender history and heritage to authentic and exciting new life. Before there was rock ‘n’ roll, there was the Telecaster—the Fender guitar that started it all. From humble beginnings came a revolutionary and elegantly simple new electric guitar that let musicians be heard loud and clear with sparkling tone and distinctive style. The U.S.-made American Vintage ’52 Telecaster puts that original-instrument magic in your hands, built using original tooling and based on actual 1952 models we tracked down.
