Condition: Used, good
Bass is very weathered, plenty of rash, neckwear and the pickguard is cracked around the screws. Our luthier has replaced the jack and pots everything else is all original. Aside from the aesthetics, this Mustang is super smooth and comfortable to play.
A road-warrior in every sense of the term, this bass has seen plenty of action over the years. Unlike some vintage instrments which possess somewhat of a "museum piece" quality, this Mustang bass bears its aesthetic imperfections as badges of pride, a true testament to the Mustang's intended role as a working musician's bass.
The short scale on this bass offers easy reach and fast action down the length of the neck, making this an extremely comfortable instrument. Additionally, the split-coil pickups offer the same sort of clear, fat tone you'd expect from a Precision Bass.
This bass is perfect for any player looking to add a piece of Fender history to their arsenal.
With an illustrious history dating back to 1946, Fender has touched and transformed music worldwide and in nearly every genre: rock ‘n’ roll, country and western, jazz, rhythm and blues and many others. Everyone from beginners and hobbyists to the world’s most acclaimed artists and performers have used Fender instruments and amps, in the process making the company not only a revered music industry name, but also a cultural icon. It is our vision to continue championing THE SPIRIT OF ROCK-N-ROLL® throughout the world and our mission to exceed the expectations of music enthusiasts worldwide.
