Sound Pure's Take
Condition: Used, Very Good
This original 1968 Fender Vibro Champ is a coveted silverface-era studio secret, delivering 5 watts of pure, touch-sensitive, all-tube tone. Wrapped in its original black Tolex and built with a lightweight, resonant pine cabinet, this 20-pound vintage combo relies on a single 6V6 power tube, two 12AX7s, and a 5Y3 tube rectifier to push sweet, singing saturation at completely manageable volume levels. Upgraded with an 8-inch Warehouse Veteran speaker for improved clarity and tight low-end response, it features simple Volume, Treble, and Bass controls alongside Fender's iconic tube-driven bias tremolo. With its classic silverface cosmetics, twin inputs, and lush speed and intensity controls, this compact vintage amp serves as an unbeatable recording rig and a timeless piece of Fender history.
