This amp is one of the loudest 20 watts I've ever heard!  And clean almost all the way up with single coils. With certain humbuckers or higher output pickups, the driven tone is god-like! This can replace amps with much higher wattage for sure!

The Blackbird 20 watt combo sounds 2-3x louder than most amps with this wattage. It's truly amazing how effective the three dimensional cabinet design is with this amp! Super thick low end is achieveable, but I typically have the bass pretty low for the most even balance.

The reverb has quite the range. I prefer just a touch. This amp takes pedals really really well! and we sometimes get different speakers in our Fargen Combos, so be sure to ask what WGS speaker is in this amp compared to the otehr blackbirds. Always nice to have variety!
