Engel Archtop guitars are a hybrid semi hollow beautifully crafted, extremely evenly responsive instruments; the neck is especially comfortable to play, and all of this with no feedback problems. The guitar is completely hollow, except the center is fitted with a 3” x4” block under the stop tail piece, which differs from a true semi hollow that has a full block running from the tail block to the neck block.
Players can own a custom guitar of the highest quality at a price they can afford.” A versatile jazz guitar that produces warm, fat tone and can also be played at higher volumes with louder rhythm sections. The Engel guitar does just that. The tone is fat, rich, warm, with tons of sustain. This is beautiful, well-kept, and one of the lightest weight Engel 2-pickup archtop that ever came through the shop and in very good condition.
