Sound Pure's Take
I have played dozens of the traditional series OMs with Adirondack tops and it is a joy to hear this design outfitted with a Sitka top. The warmth and balance of the Sitka is paired wonderfully with the expressive character of the Mahogany back and sides. This combination provides this guitar with tone that is familiar and inviting, but never dull. The guitar responds very well to changes in dynamics but still manages to take quite a lot of volume before breaking up.
Perfect for fingerstyle, strumming, or flatpicking, the OM body shape is one of the most versatile acoustic designs you can find. Contact Sound Pure today for more information!
From Eastman Guitars
This is the quintessential fingerstyle instrument. With amazing dynamic range, the Orchestra Model runs the gamut from subtle to bold. OM’s are articulate and comfortable to play due to their reduced body depth. Eastman takes a creative departure from the traditional by equipping our OM’s with a 24.9 scale length.
