Sound Pure's Take
There's nothing better than having an extra-special, timeless and collectible piece of hand-crafted artwork that also begs to be played.
The Exotic 50th Anniversary Quilted Maple veneer selected for the snare was handpicked by DW Executive Vice President and Drum Designer, John Good for the project. The drums are a constructed from a combination of persimmon, a hard tone wood similar to purpleheart that produces thick attack and projection, combined with spruce that boosts warmth and tonality. An intricate center inlay is laser-cut and hand-assembled from maple and rosewood.
