This exquisite limited-edition 6.5" x 14" snare celebrates the iconic Pink Floyd album with a breathtaking laser-cut, hand-inlayed Dark Side of the Moon theme. It is meticulously rendered in exotic birdseye maple, ebony, and basswood veneers. The snare features DW's finest construction and components, including their HVLT 10-ply maple shell, MAG throw-off system with 3-position butt-plate, True-Hoops, True-Tone snare wires, True-Pitch tuning, and Remo USA heads. A drum of this caliber should not go unprotected; DW has included a very special soft shell case with this package to protect this special gem. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Roundhouse, selected by Mr. Mason to give underprivileged, musically-inclined London youth access to instruments, rehearsal space and studio facilities.

The snare drum sizes and shell configurations are as played by each artist, with one dramatic new design element. The finish is painstakingly laser-cut, then hand-inlayed from a variety of jaw-dropping exotic wood veneers. For Neil Peart's drum, the Time Machine motif is realistically recreated in the wood, while Queen’s ornate, Freddie Mercury-designed crest is depicted, as is Pink Floyd’s famous Dark Side of the Moon prism and waveform image.
