There's nothing better than having an extra-special, timeless and collectable piece of hand-crafted artwork that also begs to be played. The Exotic 40th Anniversary Tamo Ash veneer selected for the snare was handpicked by DW Executive Vice President and Drum Designer, John Good for the project. Tamo Ash was one of the first exotic veneers that DW offered so it was logical fit to offer this as an anniversary finish. The figuring and grain are absolutely stunning and the Metallic Pewter Burst lacquer that fades to the natural beauty of the wood finishes out this stunning package. DW even went with black nickel plating on the all of the drum hardware. Get this limited edition snare drum while it's around.

To commemorate their 40th year as 'The Drummers Choice', DW offers the Tamo Ash Exotic VLT snare drum. This drum features an all maple shell with laser cut exotic veneer incorporates the ebony, tamo ash, and curly maple as part of the special 40th anniversary logo. The 6.5" x 14" snare is finished with Candy Black Burst high gloss lacquer and black nickel-plated hardware. This beautiful drum is a great addition for your drum stock either as a part of your drum set or simply a collector's item. This snare features a Custom Shop Made All Maple 6.5"x14" shell with striking laser cut exotic veneer that incorporates Ebony, Curly Maple and Tamo Ash as part of DW's 40th Anniversary Ash Tree Logo. This snare drum is finished in gloss lacquer with a Candy Black Burst and complimented with Black Nickel Plated Hardware.
