It's quite rare you find yourself quivering at the power of an 11 watt combo, but the Divided by 13 CJ11 is quite a rarity. Eleven watts of class A power complimented by 6V6GT power tubes have this gorgeous amp shaking the showroom.

The vivid plum tolex and a tasteful addition of gold lining gives the amp an exquisite and almost royal appearance. It has a large cabinet compared to most 1x12 combos however it is considerably lighter than it looks, weighing in at 46 lbs. Between the gorgeous appearance and ease of transportation due to weight, it's quite a gigging musician's amplifier.

Firing it up for the first time proved to be nothing less than a thrill. The master volume allows for crazy amounts of clean headroom with a slight but dynamic breakup, while dirty tones with a low master volume allow for a completely organic and saturated drive tone. The natural breakup of this amp is very lush and creamy without ever getting too shrill or harsh on the high end. The overall sound of the amp is very reminiscent of late 50's era tweed amps with the ability to get crystal clear cleans from that of a blackface. The tonal shaping is almost endless with the usability of the bass and treble controls, dialing in everything from bright and crisp to warm and mellow in just moments.

This amp could be a stompbox lovers first choice, effortlessly cutting through a mix and giving you a great sonic jumping off point to start shaping your sound.

The CJ11 we have in the shop right now is definitely on of the cooler modern amps we've had in here recently and would make itself right at home as your go-to studio or small club amp! We don't expect this one to last long!

When asked, by Corky James, amongest others, "Can you take my favorite 1959 tweed amp from Fullerton and instead of the controls being Volume Volume Tone make it Volume Treble Bass, give it more clean headroom, a wider range of usable overdrive (throw in a little EL 34), make it a little louder with fuller, tighter low end, and put a master volume in it so i can play at all levels and dial in and hit the sweet spot of whatever speaker i am using at the time, mostly a G12M Celestion?"
