Sound Pure's Take
Great condition D'Angelico that plays like a dream and sounds even better! We can't get enough of these guitars and are seriously impressed by the quality of the build and the condition. If you're looking for your next jazz guitar this is an attractive option!
From Other (Miscellanous Used/Vintage/Consign)
The Excel SS has earned its place as a modern standout. A 15-inch-wide single-cutaway archtop, the SS is lightweight, punchy, and versatile. High-output Kent Armstrong humbuckers make for crisp attack and remarkable resonance, while a slim C-shape neck profile offers maximum comfort. Revered by players from Bob Weir to Kurt Rosenwinkel, the SS is no stranger to stages. Now available with both our signature D’Angelico Stairstep trapeze-style tailpiece or a traditional stop tailpiece with full center block.
