This DS3 from Collings has quite the identity and you'll be smiling from ear to ear when you hear how great this guitar will sound in just about any setting! The German Spruce top adds some complexity and sweetness, and with Madagascar RW over the typical East Indian you still have a guitar with strong fundamentals but has a lot more going on in the overtones than something with Mahogany. This guitar will exceed your expectations if you're looking for a versatile Dreadnought with power and complexity that isn't squarely in the "vintage tone" camp. This instrument is used but in excellent condition and there are no blemishes to note, you'll have trouble finding a used Collings in this good of shape!
