Sound Pure's Take
Condition: Used, Excellent
This one of those guitars we just never see and will likely never see again, at least not like this. It's amazing how much power and personality this guitar offers--the Traditional series design aspects in combination with the Adirondack and Madagascar are truly mighty to hear, feel and behold. As sophisticated and studied in its nods to the small flattops of the early 19th century as it is responsive and commanding. Collings hardly offers Madagascar anymore and those wonderful, handmade Traditional series cases are completely out of production. If they -were- to make this guitar new these days, we'd be talking about an instrument worth ~$11k. Never before and never again, folks!
