Combining vintage single-cut heritage with modern boutique craftsmanship, the Collings CL pairs a premium flamed maple top with a solid Honduran mahogany body, bound with non-grained ivoroid and finished in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Its Honduran mahogany neck connects via an extra-long mortise and tenon joint and features a 24 7/8" scale length, a 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with MOP long dot inlays, a 1 11/16" nut, and Collings' signature "Haircut" peghead overlay with nickel Gotoh tuners. Premium tone components include Lollar Standard Wind Imperial humbuckers wired 50s-style through DiMarzio 500K pots and Jupiter Vintage Yellow capacitors, anchored by a nickel-plated Kluson ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece assembly. Weighing 7 lbs 15 oz, this high-end solid-body comes protected in a custom hardshell case by Ameritage.
