As rich, expressive, and intimate as it is comfortable, this artful little fellow is sure to be your new best friend! Martin's first guitars were around this size and, with this modern day magician from Collings, it's easy to see why--every note seems to walk its own, distinct tight rope. Every little nuance suggested by right and left hands is carried across effortlessly by the sensitive, subtle German top. Sounds great as a rhythm instrument, too (just don't mistake it for a D-28)! A balladeer's best friend!

Bracing and tone woods are adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection.
