Sound Pure's Take

Condition: Used, Excellent

The true-to-tradition tone coupled with modern structural stability are a match made in heaven--all of that glorious, birdsong, vintage tone without any of the snake-in-the-grass issues or quirks waiting to strike your wallet. Couch composers and small-room serenaders are going to adore the warm, rich tonal voice that graces the precision and sensitivity native to the bodystyle. If the comfort of the Parlors is appealling but you're after a bit more oomph and presence, this Sitka/Hog 0 is just the ticket!

From Collings Guitars

Our acclaimed Traditional or “T-Series” guitars offer a new tonal variation on the distinctive Collings sound with a tonality evocative of the best 1920's and 1930's era instruments. Each T-Series guitar is built using animal protein glue and a very thin, all nitrocellulose lacquer finish, making them exceptionally dynamic and responsive. Bracing and tone woods are carefully selected and adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection. To complete the package, all T-Series models include our original vintage-inspired Collings case that we've designed and build by hand in-house for an unrivaled level of quality, fit and aesthetic that enhances the experience of owning a fine instrument.
