The Collings 001A Traditional is a masterfully crafted small-body acoustic that celebrates the warmth, responsiveness, and elegance of pre-war guitar design. Its Adirondack spruce top and Honduran mahogany back and sides produce a remarkably open, articulate voice with impressive dynamic range, making it equally rewarding for fingerstyle players and light strummers. Built with Collings' Traditional Series scalloped bracing and finished in ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer, it offers a lively, resonant character that responds beautifully to every nuance of your touch. Refined appointments and impeccable craftsmanship make this 001A Traditional an inspiring, investment-worthy instrument built to be enjoyed for generations.
From Collings Guitars

This Traditional Series variation represents our vintage-inspired approach to voicing and construction, which brings out a strong fundamental tonality and dry articulation with warmer high-end response.
