Delivering 28 watts of raw, EL34-powered British overdrive, the Carr Hammerhead Combo offers a focused single-channel design built for pure plug-and-play tone. Powered by two 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL34 power tubes, this point-to-point hand-wired combo pushes dynamic crunch and rich harmonic punch through a custom Carr Kingpin 60 speaker. Its streamlined control layout features Volume, Master, Tone, and unique four-position Impact and Grip rotary switches, allowing players to reshape the power section's frequency response and overall power-amp gain structure. The result is a highly expressive, vintage-voiced tube amplifier capable of going from glassy clean chime to aggressive, muscular gain with effortless dynamic response.
