Sound Pure's Take
For those of you who know John's work, you know it's nothing short of amazing. You also may equate these stellar archtop guitars with a high price-point. Well, times are a changin', and the Starlight series offers truly professional hand-built quality, at a price that is much more reasonable the previous offerings.
What I especially love about this build is the compact size, elegant looks, versatile pickup arrangment, and stealthy upgrades that you'll have to seek out to know they're there, like the push/push tone knob to engage the acoustic pickup. This feature brings this archtop guitar to a place not many can venture. When plugged in, you get 3 distinctive and bold flavors from the humbuckers, and when the acoustic pickup is engaged, classical and jazz playing are both right at home.
Take a look in the F-holes and you may not see anything too different at first, but wait! are the edges curved? by golly, they are! The back and sides are actually 1 piece that has been completely hollowed out. Structurally strong and perfectly matched with a carved spruce top, the vibrance I feel when playing unplugged is inspiring! Plug in, and any gig or recording session is your ouster.
Call or Email for more info. There are only a few of these out on the market. Be one of the first to experience a truly special hand-crafted archtop that caters to a wide variety of styles and tones

From Buscarino Guitars
A guitar's primary function is usually measured in musical terms: its ability to produce precise notes, chords and passages on demand. Consistency is the ultimate test of its perfection. But to the Master luthier and craftsman John Buscarino, this is only a beginning. John is one of the few luthiers working today; a solo artisan handcrafting guitars suited to each customer's personal needs. His instruments are prized not just for the beautiful sounds they produce, but also as the cherished possessions they inevitably become. Guitar player Steve Morse considers his Buscarino guitars "treasured works of art," as do many of John's customers.
John is unique among today's guitar builders in that he apprenticed with not one but two master luthiers. The first was Augustine LoPrinzi, from whom John learned the finer points of building classical guitars.
John later worked with famed archtop builder Robert Benedetto, spending years perfecting the woodworking skills that today make him a master luthier in his own right.
John has created hundreds of exquisite guitars using proven methods passed down over generations. He constantly refines these time-tested techniques, taking each to new levels of perfection in mastering the art of lutherie.
