Vintage API 312 Cards racked in a 19" 1RU chassis.
Although it's certainly seen some love, it sounds fantastic and delivers the same clean, clear sound that the vintage API 312s are known for. These are actual vintage API 312 cards, not a recreation.
This 19" rack unit contains two of the original 312 microphone preamp/DI cards used in API consoles from the 1970s and still highly sought after today. The 312 is one of API's most famous mic preamps and is the basis of the highly successful 3124.
BAE are manufacturers of high end microphone preamp/equalizers faithful to vintage designs of the seventies and before. With a penchant for high quality transformers like Carnhill (St lves) and Jensen, everything is as close to the vintage philosophy as possible. Not only that but we insist everything is hand-wired/soldered using discreet electronics and not economized on a circuit board.
