On July 7, 2016, JP Cormier bought his first Boucher guitar. Since then, and without asking for anything back, this artist with immeasurable talent and generosity constantly praises the merits of our guitars. Wishing to point out the great contribution of JP regarding the growing popularity of our guitars, we wanted to offer him a guitar. But not just any guitar! A JP Cormier Signature model truly designed to reflect the great qualities of this great ambassador of the Boucher Guitars brand. So, we had to create a guitar with a unique look and a frank, generous, authentic, and versatile sound. The addition of an exclusive cutaway to our 12-fret 000 body-size adorned with a neck headstock design reminiscent of all our models is a reminder of the great JP’s qualities.
A few years back a wonderful man named Robin Boucher drove to Sound Pure studios all the way from Canada. In his back seat, nestled in lovely tweed cases, he had some of the finest acoustic guitars to ever cross our northern border. We became immediate friends and his work was mind-blowing. The clarity of the tone, the immaculate fit and finish, the effortless playability. To top it all off, Robin got his start as a WOOD DEALER. He happens to live in an Adirondack red spruce forest!
