Another masterpiece from one of our favorite makers!  Robin Boucher's attention to detail, truly superlative tonewood selection, and sophisticated ear for voicing always blow us away.  This specimen might be the yet!  Master Grade Adirondack and Walnut (Robin saved these pieces just for us--they're the best he's seen) come together on an already highly balanced body style to furnish the player with an open, blooming tonality from bass to treble.  As Robin says, it's a "romantic guitar."  It's bright in just the right ways--plenty of shimmer and shine without any of the ear-stabbing treble one might encounter with a new Addy-topped instrument.  That Walnut isn't just Master Grade for the looks, either.  Few tonewoods can offer a strong, responsive fundamental in tandem with an intricate but orderly overtone content--that's precisely what we've got with this instrument.  To put it another way, you've got plenty of modern brilliance (as opposed to a woody, dry, vintage instrument) with a definite multi-dimensional quality that usually eludes new instruments.  Fingerstylists and flatpickers alike will love the smiles that spread across the listener's face when this OM starts singing.  The player's view doesn't get much better, either!  Catch the sides and that sunburst at just the right angle and this guitar almost has a Calico look to it.  And what more could you ask for than a guitar that engages both the player and the listener?  This OM has places to go and people to enchant--call us up today and make sure you're the one coming along for the ride!
