Sound Pure's Take

Experience handcrafted Canadian lutherie at its finest with the Boucher HG-56! Built to a traditional 12-fret-to-the-body 000 design, this acoustic instrument features a top-grade Master Grade (AAAA) Torrefied Adirondack Red Spruce soundboard paired with hand-scalloped, forward-shifted Adirondack X-bracing. The aged spruce top delivers astounding dynamic headroom, rich vintage warmth, and explosive projection. A solid South American mahogany neck with a 1.750" bone nut meets a solid ebony fingerboard and bridge, offering smooth playability across its 25.5" scale length. Styled with understated elegance, it boasts herringbone body purfling and rosette, maple binding, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, a synthetic tortoise pickguard, and nickel Gotoh open-gear tuners. Complete with a signed interior label and a premium TKL tweed deluxe hardshell case, the HG-56 is a true heirloom-grade instrument for discerning fingerstyle and flatpicking artists alike.

From Boucher Guitars

Our HG-56 is crafted for the best tonal results. It will deliver mids and bass depth while finger picking even using a capo at the 7th fret. Evenness and richness of sound will surprise the most accomplished players.

The ability of this instrument to adjust to your musical style will elevate your playing to the point of your finding it difficult to put it down. Many fingerstyle players have told us that they feel immediately became better musicians as soon as they played our Heritage Goose. This gives us at Boucher Guitars a great sense of pride to help you accomplish your full musical potential and to boost your creativity.

The Heritage Goose HG-56 is built using torrefied Adirondack spruce personally selected by Robin Boucher for both the bracing and the soundboard. Its incomparable playability and versatility will make it the ideal guitar to satisfy your most ambitious aspirations.

The HG-56 is the perfect guitar for your Fingerstyle projects!
